Bicycle lane

The Bike Trail Coastal Park of Western Liguria is one of the longest in the Mediterranean.
Total length of 20 km, the route can be used by pedestrians and cyclists in both directions.
Bike Trail was born on the coastal route of the old railway single track between Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo al Mare, on the Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line, dismantled in 2001 and moved upstream. The line has been reclaimed and transformed into the bike path by the company with a public majority Area 24. The first sections were completed in 2008.
The path is mostly easy and flat, through small villages and along the typical Mediterranean coast, in picturesque traits, once unique and inaccessible. From the track, whose headquarters are often close to the sea, you have easy access to beaches and cliffs. In the countries crossed, mainly tourism, are also available bike rental shops, dining, and overnight facilities.
